There’s a different feeling when you control an RC vehicle that is gas powered. It sounds different roaring through the great outdoor terrain. A lot of (RC) enthusiast in the area will stop, look, listen as you speed by and then their curiosity kicks in and want to know what you are driving and where did you get it.

I love sharing information about my experiences with other RC enthusiast. The thrill of driving off-road with a rather small vehicle doing stunts and flips and spitting the dirt in the air is just to much fun. It gives you a break from life at the 9-5. It’s an affordable hobby that has all the R&R I need, even if its for a short time, but with gas powered your time outside will equal the amount of gas you brought. Depending on your driving style you may need to bring some extra parts. Going home early because of a broken part kills the joy.

The other exciting item about this gas powered monster is that it comes in the 1/5th scale. Is that somewhat bigger than the typical 1/10th scale. I believe it is. It’s a bigger monster. What do you carry it in. I know how about a baby stroller. The one I had could carry some serious weight. It even comes with the added carrying compartment for your much-needed gas can. Plus its on four wheels which makes it easier to push around. I know it sounds a little crazy but remember its just a thought. If I still had one I would probably use it. Just saying, no joking. LOL

OK lets take a look at what comes with this monster and what it has to offer below.

Overview For The Rampage RC Monster Truck  Rampage MT V3 RC - Gas Powered Monster Truck

There are many fellow RC enthusiasts running their 1/10 scale vehicles at the local RC park. Dropping the large scale Rampage MT V3 to the ground, you fill its 700cc gas tank with premixed unleaded gasoline/oil. You prepare the MT V3 for its starting sequence by pushing the primer bulb a few times and rotating the choke lever. A tug of the starter cord brings the monstrous 32cc 2-Stroke gasoline engine to life. An angry growl bellows through the surrounding trees as the Rampage MT V3 exhales through its rear facing exhaust. The other RC vehicles roll to a halt, as their drivers peer in your direction. You burp the throttle as if the beast is taunting its prey. Anticipation builds as you get ready to unleash the Rampage!

Local RC enthusiast move to the field’s edge, with their drivers now paying full attention to what is about to unfold in front of their eyes. Each looks on with an excitement of anticipation as they wait to see the gas powered beast roll through the natural mother nature offered terrain. With a brisk stab of the throttle, the Rampage MT V3 claws at the dirt beneath, throwing it rearward. Watch out for those rooster tails, put on your glasses. The MT V3 launches itself forward with a loud thunderous roar. You have officially gained the full attention of everyone within hearing distance. The Rampage MT V3 is a sight to see. With these pictures running through my head, now I want one.

The Rampage MT V3 is both fast and powerful. Large scale aluminum bodied oil filled shocks, coupled with 4-wheel independent suspension, add a degree of prowess to the MT’s otherwise aggressive display of dominance. The 32cc gasoline engine sends huge amounts of power to its reliable, shaft driven, 4-wheel drive train. Everything on the Rampage MT V3 is gigantic, including its tunable sealed gear differentials, beefy steel drive cups, and large diameter drive shafts. The 4mm Aluminum 6061T6 chassis is the backbone of the MT. Front and rear aluminum braces provide the extra strength that a vehicle of this sheer size demands.

Even though the Rampage MT V3 is an extremely big vehicle, it is also a great performer. With adjustable camber, adjustable brake linkage, adjustable ride height, tunable suspension, select able shock positions, and adjustable toe angle, the Rampage MT V3 has many tuning options and is a great choice for anyone who wants to step up in the RC enthusiast hobby.

The Rampage MT V3 is currently one of the largest vehicles Redcat has to offer, but it doesn’t rely solely on its impressive size and scary power to turn heads. With an inner roll cage, detailed monster truck body, and massive monster truck tires mounted to functional bead-lock rims, the Rampage MT V3 is as impressive to look at as it is to drive.

As the other RC drivers are still staring with complete wonder, you continue to peg the throttle, putting on a very impressive display of power and authority. The large 1/5 scale Rampage MT V3 monster truck is now hurling dirt in every direction, like a crazed beast frantically searching for underground prey.

A 2.4GHz radio system commands precision from dual large scale steering servos and metal gear throttle/brake servo, which allows the driver to remain in control while drool continues to collect at the feet of onlookers.

As you near the end of your run, you engage the dual disc brake system and drive the Rampage MT V3 back to its starting position. I don’t usually use my brakes with my other RC vehicles, but with this one you will want to. Still, in awe, spectators slowly pick up their jaws and begin to process what they’ve just witnessed.

As your body trembles with excitement, you realize that you may have just experienced one of the most exciting times of your life. Looking out among the other fellow RC enthusiasts, who are now dreaming of owning a Rampage MT V3 for themselves, you shout, “You’ve just witnessed the Rampage!”

What a thrill to be able to share this experience with fellow RC enthusiast.
