Hello.
I love driving remote control trucks and cars with my son. Since, he was small we started purchasing RC’s that were age appropriate. We started small with indoor cars that drove very well on tile floors. It was a lot of fun watching him develop his skills with the hand and eye coordination needed to keep the RC from hitting the wall or bouncing off the washer and dryer.
As he grew older we moved onto RC Trucks such as crawlers. Then we got to go outside and drive in the dirt, trails full of leaves, sticks all the wonderful objects mother nature could provide. He drove over, under and through many obstacles sometimes getting upset because he got stuck. No way would he be defeated. He would call me by my favorite nickname, DAD I need some help here. Off I would dash to assist in retrieving the stuck RC Truck from the grips of the unforgiving MUD Monster. How dare he try to devour my sons toy. I would rescue the RC Truck, shake off the mud and leaves that were stuck to it and return it to the 8-year-old owner. Haha take that Mud Monster. Imagination is key when playing outside in the trails of the forgotten woodlands.

Now that he is a little older we get to drive the adult size RC Cars and Trucks. The ones that go a little faster and require a little more maintenance which he has developed some very cool engineered models of his own from spare parts. He has learned what parts fit with different models and tried some that didn’t work, but at least he is trying.
The fun and memories of driving a simple thing as an RC car or truck are priceless. These are the joys of being a dad and spending quality time with one of the most important person in my life.
